PA One-to-One Support, or Group Community, online

Individual and community centred opportunities will ultimately contribute to building a healthier resilient person – which can positively impact community. Together we can explore our own assets such as our skillset, our understanding, our social systems, and build steps for good health. Together - if we have support from peers who may share similar experiences – can be a powerful tool for improving and maintaining health.

Volunteering

My voluntary venture has offered much time to the charities I support. So what I give in time, I receive back in terms of my own level of self-care. I now realise that the more we value our time, the relationship with time gets better. Furthermore, if we value choice - the relationship with choice gets better. ……and so on.

Retreats

I have also created opportunities for retreat experiences. Please get in touch for further details. I am willing to offer a space and my time and welcome a donation from the client that is comfortable to them, or sold artwork can help to facilitate these opportunities.

Artwork

I have looked to the art space to enable the facilitation to expand. As our work evolves, creating products together with clients may be an opportunity; similar to the art projects we have already experienced.

Art, whether it be photography/oil on canvas, can conjure up emotions from the past or take you forward into the present. If you see an image, and it carries substance, if it carries something beyond the frame, an image that stays with you, then it is worth looking at. The ‘photo’ in ‘My Gallery’ section, ‘passage’, captured at 4.24am, in Stockholm in 2019, a reflection in the water, of an Eos Schooner, where the low sun provided a golden sheen. There is not only the charm of the yacht, but the mystery of its voyages; our own journeys, and the journeys of others. It carries unknown and holds its own authenticity.

  • A few paintings have the Theme - R.I.C.H. running. Rich In Cognitive Harmony, which represents opportunities; knowing and trusting, whilst acknowledging that any cognitive dissonance, and our belief systems coming into play, can interrupt the path along the way. We all start at the same place; and biology and environment supports us.

  • The project emerging can provide ️ and support my services to voluntary work such as community, therapeutic interventions and bring families together who are linked to charities, to learn and move forwards with each other. This can provide opportunity, trust and creativity. My services enable retreat respite stays for families that require the extra support. This started recently and perhaps longer term educational grant funding can be considered for further charity work.

This driver aims to connect the world of philanthropy addressing any root causes, at a systemic level.

Volunteering

Advocacy work, mentoring and consulting. Chair and Trustee, DESST. Part of a mentoring project for migrant women in need of English for Speakers of Other Language provision (celebrated the end of the year 2023 with the Soroptimist International Group), KRAN. Contributing both time and funds can drive positive social change.

Hosting or Short-Stays

As a family we have travelled internationally, and welcome students from many countries and cultures. There is a commitment to trust. We connect with Canterbury Christ Church University, Canterbury College and Concorde International currently working together to enable students to have the best possible experience. There is an understanding for the need for comfort, trust and respect.
